We turned a simple backdrop into a tool to give visibility to black digital creators.

Do you know those backgrounds at events? Brands go all out to be there and get noticed next to celebs. But TikTok did things differently, and that's how Blackdrop came to be. The idea is simple. TikTok gave up its brand space to highlight Black content creators on the platform. Every photo created new opportunities for these creators.

The result was amazing. People got into it, and big names like Viola Davis, Angela Bassett, Tais Araújo, Hugo Gloss, Seu Jorge, Karol Conka, and Margareth Menezes brought visibility to the campaign. The coolest part was seeing black creators shining together
